9. Selling your watch through our website
Online valuation tool
9.1 Upon submitting your watch details on our website, provided this meets our minimum eligibility criteria, we will aim to provide you with an indicative valuation. This value is derived from prevailing trade market rates for watches sharing specifications and conditions similar to those of the watch you have described. Following receipt of this indicative valuation, you’ll have the opportunity to decide whether to proceed with selling your watch through our marketplace.
9.2 Any estimate provided regarding the watch you have for sale, is solely at our discretion. We reserve the right to refrain from providing an estimate if we are unwilling or unable to market the Sale Item on your behalf or for any other reason. You are prohibited from using the estimation for any purpose other than the intended sale, including, but not limited to, insurance purposes.
9.3 Please be aware that an indicative valuation does not constitute a valuation of the Sale Item, and thus may not accurately reflect its actual market value. Our valuation tool enables you to estimate the value of your watch and the price which we may list it for.
9.4 You acknowledge and understand that even if we provide you with an estimate, we are under no obligation to market the Sale Item on our platform. Likewise, you are not obligated to utilise our services.
10. Commission Fee
10.1 We charge a competitive commission fee of 5% on any sale, with a minimum fee of €300 / £250. This fee is automatically deducted from your payout once your watch is sold.
10.2 Our rate ensures we can maintain a modern platform, uphold fairness, and deliver exceptional service to you.
11. Profiling your watch
11.1 If you choose to proceed with the sale, we will request further details about your watch, including photos, serial number, movement number, proof of ownership, and any other pertinent information to support the sale.
11.2 When profiling your watch, you should make every effort to ensure that the information you provide is accurate and up to date. Providing inaccurate information could lead to changes in the eventual price you are paid for your watch or a Trading partner refusing to purchase it.
11.3 Should you wish to list your watch for sale on our website you warrant and agree to the following:
You are the owner of the watch or have authority from the owner to sell the watch in accordance with section 12 of the Sale of Goods Act 1979.
You agree to sell the watch once the agreed price has been achieved.
You agree that the description and all information provided in respect of the watch uploaded by you to our website (or provided to us verbally) is complete, true, accurate and not misleading; furthermore, you agree to indemnify us against all claims, losses, demands, damages, liabilities, costs and expenses (including reasonable legal expenses) we may incur in respect of the description of (and information provided about) the watch;
You have provided all the details that our Trading partner would want to know, including but not limited to any mechanical issues, physical defects or damage.
12. Agreeing a reserve price
12.1 Once you’ve completed the profiling of your watch, our team will assess your watch profile and mutually agree on a reserve price. This reserve price reflects the expected achievable price based on the details provided during the profiling stage.
12.2 It’s important to note that your reserve price may differ from your initial valuation. This variation can occur because the Trading partner purchasing your watch will need to factor in preparation costs for retailing the watch, which may affect the offer they extend to you. When listing your watch, we cannot guarantee you will receive any offers, and the initial valuation quote and reserve price may not be attained.
12.3 Once you have agreed to list your watch in our auction unless you choose the ‘make an offer’ or ‘buy it now’ listing, you shall be committed to having the watch listed with us exclusively for a minimum of 14 days.
12.4 If the reserve price is not met or exceeded, the watch will not be sold during the auction.
13. How Our Sales Process Works
Dealers Compete
13.1 In order to bid on your watch, our Trading partners must specify the maximum purchase price which they are willing to pay for it (“Maximum Bid”). The bidder may increase their Maximum Bid at any point whilst the listing is active. Whilst the Maximum Bid does not have to meet the Reserve Price to enable the bidder to bid on your watch, their Maximum Bid will not be successful if it does not meet the Reserve Price. No bidder may submit a bid for a watch which is less than the sum specified by Zundia. (“Minimum Bid Amount”).
13.2 If a Maximum Bid is equal to or below the Reserve Price, it will automatically become the highest bid unless another bidder submits a higher bid. If a Maximum Bid is equal to or above the Reserve Price and there is no other bid which meets or exceeds the Reserve Price, that Maximum Bid will win the listing at the Reserve Price.
13.3 When two different Maximum Bids exceed the Reserve Price, our system will automatically bid on behalf of each bidder in increments of £50 (or such other amount as Zundia may determine from time to time) each above the next highest bid up to their respective Maximum Bid.
13.4 When there are two bids which meet or exceed the Reserve Price, the listing will be won by the bidder who has outbid the others.
13.5 If two bidders enter the same Maximum Bid which:
Equals to the Reserve Price, and there are no higher bids, the first bid received will win the listing at the Reserve Price; or
Exceeds the Reserve Price and there are no higher bids, the first bid received will win the listing at the price which is £50 above: (i) the next highest bid if the next highest bid equals to or exceeds the Reserve Price; or (ii) the Reserve Price if there are no other bids or if the next highest bid is below the Reserve Price.
13.6 If your watch is not sold during the original auction, it will be automatically listed as a second chance offer (“Second Chance Offer”) as follows:
Its original Reserve Price is the price at which your watch can be bought immediately (“Buy It Now Price”).
Each Maximum Bid (if any) submitted during the original listing will be used to ascend from.
If no bids were placed during the original listing, the Minimum Bid Amount will be used to ascend from.
New trading partners can submit offers on your watch.
Increments of £50 (or more if Zundia so determines) each will be applied in the offer process.
The watch will be sold as soon as an offer meets the Buy It Now Price.
Any offers below the Buy It Now Price will be presented to you, and you must confirm if you wish to accept such offers to proceed.
Full details of each listing’s expiry date and time will be posted on our website, but all bids and transactions are subject to these terms of use.
13.7 You reserve the right to end a listing at any time without prior notification to the bidders. We reserve the right to refuse or remove bids and/or suspend, cancel or extend listings at our discretion. Zundia may change the bidding process at any time. You agree with Zundia that you shall at all times act in good faith with bidders. Accepting bid / Offer
13.8 Once you agree to the top bid or offer, you enter a legally binding commitment. By doing so, you’re opting to move forward with the sale of your watch, and withdrawing from it isn’t an option. Additionally, you’re obligated to cover our fees.
13.9 You agree for Zundia to share your details with the buyer (Trade Partner) and our third-party escrow service “Trustap”.
14 Once you accept a top bid or offer, we may request two forms of Identification and additional documentation to verify your watch ownership. We reserve the right to refuse a sale if this information cannot be provided.
14.1 Once all relevant information has been received, we will notify the successful Trading partner and proceed with facilitating the transaction through the Escrow service.
15. How The Escrow Service Works
15.1 Zundia works in collaboration with “Trustap” a third-party online escrow payment service. The Trustap service ensures the buyer’s funds are held securely in an escrow account and releases them only when all transactional milestones are met. The buyer (Trading partner) and Seller are equally protected during the transaction.
15.2 Both the watch seller and Trading partner will receive communication from a representative of Trustap who will oversee the transaction process. A breakdown of any commission fees associated with the sale will also be provided.
15.3 The Trading partner must process the payment to the escrow service within two working days. Once the funds have successfully cleared, both the seller and Trading partner will receive confirmation from Trustap regarding the secured funds. At this point, your contact details will be shared.
15.4 The Trading partner will initiate direct communication with the seller to arrange for the watch’s delivery. Should the item be transferred through a courier or delivery service, the seller must dispatch the watch within two working days and provide Trustap and the trading partner with the tracking information.
15.5 The seller is accountable for any expenses associated with shipping and insuring the watch.
15.6 Trustap verifies that the buyer has received the watch and notifies both the seller and Zundia. Once received, the two-working-day buyer Inspection period begins. During this time, the Trading partner will inspect your watch to ensure that it matches the description and condition you gave us when you profiled it. This includes a physical inspection of the watch and may include a further search through lost and stolen databases.
15.7 In order to inspect the watch, including its functionality or material from which it was made, it may be necessary for our Trading partner to conduct certain tests on the watch. Such tests may result in some markings left on the watch or some minimal wear to the item. You must refer to the Trading partner’s terms and conditions.
15.8 You hereby agree that if the watch is returned to you, we will not be held responsible for any damage to the watch or loss suffered by you as a result of a testing process undertaken by our Trading partners. For example, the watch’s inspection and/or testing may involve opening it. By opening a water-resistant watch, there is a risk that following its inspection and/or testing, the watch will no longer be water-resistant. If the watch is returned to you, we strongly advise you to replace the seal that prevents water from entering the watch or not expose the watch to water. We are not responsible for any losses you suffer (directly or indirectly) if they result from a watch that is no longer water-resistant after our Trading partner’s inspection and/or testing of it.
15.9 The funds are not released until after the inspection period (two working days) has elapsed. At the close of the transaction, the seller is paid the proceeds minus any commission fees incurred.
Price Adjustments And Cancellations
16 Trustap will handle all customer service enquiries regarding the transaction process and any disputes. Data collected will be shared with Zundia. If you need any further assistance, we're here to help. Feel free to reach out to us at hello@zundia.io or +44 20 4620 3222.
16.1 If the Trading partner finds discrepancies between the description and/or condition of the watch as provided by you and the actual state of the watch, they will inform Trustap. In such cases, funds will be withheld until a resolution is reached.
16.2 The Trading partner may choose to either (a) offer a revised purchase price or (b) not proceed with the purchase of your watch. We work closely with our Trade Partners to ensure this rarely happens. However, this might happen if, for example:
There is obvious damage or a difference in condition found on inspection, which wasn’t in your watch profile; or It’s clear that you have engaged in any fraudulent or misleading behaviour.
16.3 You are not obligated to accept a revised purchase price from the Trading partner.
17. Returns
17.1 If you do not accept a revised purchase price, then the Trading partner will arrange the return of the watch.
17.2 the seller is responsible for covering any return shipping and insurance fees that may arise.
18. Trade Partner Terms
18.1 If you register with Zundia as a business entity or on behalf of a business entity, you represent that you have the authority to bind that entity legally. 8.5 We may cancel unconfirmed accounts or accounts that have been inactive for a period of six months.
16.6 Trade Partners can cancel this user agreement by emailing us at hello@zundia.io. We may recoup the cost of any services provided up to the point of cancellation.

21.3 You must arrange payment through the escrow service within two working days.
21.4 Once the funds have successfully cleared, both the seller and Trading partner will receive confirmation from Trustap regarding the secured funds. At this point, your contact details will be shared.
21.5 You will be required to contact the seller to arrange for the delivery of the watch. Should the item be transferred through a courier or delivery service, the seller must dispatch the watch within 2 working days and provide the tracking information to the trading partner and Trustap.
21.6 The seller is accountable for any expenses associated with shipping and insuring the watch.
21.7 Trustap verifies that the Trading partner has received the watch and notifies both the seller and Zundia. Once received, the two-working-day buyer Inspection period begins. During this time, it is your responsibility to inspect the watch to ensure it matches the description and condition provided by the seller when they profiled it.
21.8 The funds are not released until after the inspection period (two working days) has elapsed. At the close of the transaction, the seller is paid the proceeds minus any commission fees incurred.
22. Price adjustments and cancellations
22.1 Trustap will handle all customer service enquiries regarding the transaction process and any disputes. Data collected will be shared with Zundia.
22.2 The Trading partner is responsible for identifying any discrepancies between the description and/or condition of the watch.
