Can Zundia sell my watch for me?
We prefer to be impartial and have no intention of selling watches ourselves, or buying any of the watches listed.
We have no intention of supporting customers to consign their watches; we merely facilitate modern watch trading with all the security, transparency, freedom and simplicity you deserve.
How much does it cost to sell my watch?
We charge a competitive commission fee of just 5% on any sale, with a minimum fee of €300 / £250. This fee is deducted from your payout once your watch has sold.
This rate allows us to maintain our modern platform, keep things fair and provide you with the best possible service.
How do I get paid?
All transactions go through Trustap. They're a secure digital transaction platform that offers complete protection when transacting with unknown buyers, allowing you peace of mind for every single trade.
Using Stripe's secure payment technology, Trustap secures the buyer's money in a safe hold account until all the transaction milestones are met and the two-day inspection period ends. The money is instantly released to the seller once the buyer is content with their purchase.
Because Trustap holds all our traders' details, we won't ever hold any sensitive information beyond your name, address, email, and listed items.
Trustap covers 135 countries & 640+ couriers worldwide.
Who handles shipping & insurance?
The seller is responsible for ensuring the item is properly packaged, shipped and insured for the full value during transit. We'll connect you to our premium insurance partner, Secursus, but we're not liable for lost or damaged packages. Sellers should review the policies of their selected shipping and insurance companies to ensure adequate coverage, including Secursus or any other insurer you prefer.
Can I hand deliver my watch?
Planning to hand-deliver your watch to our Trading partner? Sure thing, just discuss it once they contact you. Funds will still be held until the buyer's watch inspection is complete. Remember, Zundia isn't part of the contract between you and the buyer, and cannot be responsible for any deals that hit the fan. You should always follow the Trading partner's guidelines for a smooth transaction.
What info do I need to sell my watch?
To sell your watch on our platform, your watch profile must be accurate and truthful. Shady profiles result in slower verifications. Include details like brand, model, condition, features, and any relevant documentation or certifications.
Sharp photos stand out. Snap your watch's best side with high-quality images from all angles, highlighting features, and any imperfections.
What if my watch is a positive match on lost & stolen databases?
If your watch is flagged as lost or stolen, there might be an issue with its ownership or history. We'll contact you to find out more and may even ask for proof of ownership. By stepping in, we work to protect buyers and sellers from any possible mischief.
As per our terms and privacy policy, we may share your info to comply with legal obligations or assist investigations. We take reports of counterfeit or stolen goods very seriously, and do our best to ensure safety, transparency, and security for all.
Can I withdraw my listing?
After accepting an offer, you're as committed as a dog to its bone. Withdrawing your listing afterwards isn't an option, and you're responsible for any fees related to the transaction. However, we know life happens, and plans can go sideways. In exceptional cases, you can contact Zundia's support team at hello@zundia.io, but ultimately it's at their discretion to allow a listing to be removed.
Do I have to accept an offer?
We encourage both sellers and buyers to consider offers seriously and proceed with the sale in good faith once the best auction offer has been received. That said, you're not required to accept the offer (but we'd watch out for that seven years of bad luck rumour), and we understand there may be various reasons for declining.
Can anyone buy watches from Zundia?
Nope, our auction platform is strictly for watch traders. Private customers don't have access to the auction just yet!
Can I view the auction listing?
Sorry, but auction access is for vetted and approved professional watch traders only. Private sellers can't peek inside directly, but we'll keep you in the loop on any auction updates and offers involving your watch.
If a best offer has been made during the auction, don't worry; we'll notify you.
What happens if there are no buyers during the auction?
Once your watch hits our auction, it's listed for at least 14 days to ensure you get maximum air time.
While we work to attract a network of buyers across the UK & Ireland, getting an offer isn't always a certainty. If bids don't meet your reserve price during the auction, your watch stays yours, ready for its next chance in the spotlight. You can then choose to keep or re-list- for the next auction - no pressure though, do whatever floats your boat!
What is the buy it now offer?
Didn't sell this round? We'll make sure it's re-listed for our next auction as a second chance offer. Buyers can grab it right away at the original reserve price, doubling as the 'Buy It Now' price.
It's a surefire way for buyers to snap up your watch without counting down to the next auction. This way, your timepiece stays in play, catching the eyes of those who missed out the first time.

Once we approve your purchase, we'll send it to our secure escrow provider, Trustap. They'll handle all the transaction milestones for both buyers and sellers.
During this process, you may need to provide your ID for verification - or risk a cancelled order. You've got two working days to inspect the item and pay through Trustap with secure Stripe technology.
If you're using bank transfers, expect no extra charges. But for European card payments, Trusap charges 2.5% + £0.40p and 4% +$0.4 for USD cards. Paying from an overseas bank account? Chat to Trustap directly to find out your possible charges.
How is VAT handled on Zundia fees?
Zundia is a registered company based in Ireland and operates within the European Union. For our UK trade partners, a 0% non-EU VAT rate applies. UK-based businesses are required to self-account for VAT under the reverse charge mechanism. For our trade partners located within Ireland, 23% VAT will be applied to all applicable fees.
Who handles shipping & insurance?
The seller is responsible for ensuring the item is snuggly packaged, shipped and insured for the full value during transit. We'll connect them to our premium insurance partner, Secursus, but we're not liable for lost or damaged packages.
As a buyer, you'll have peace of mind that the seller is committed to ensuring your new watch's safety. If you have specific shipping or triple-protection in mind, you can sort this out with the seller directly.
Can I get a refund if the watch isn’t as advertised?
Spot a difference between reality and the listing? Alert Trustap right away with the eagle-eyed differences you've noted. They'll hold onto the funds until things are speedily squared away.
You've got two choices: negotiate a new price based on the watch's actual condition or call off the deal hassle-free. Trustap will work with both parties to ensure a fair fix if there's a mismatch.
Can I return the watch if it’s not my style?
Unfortunately not, sorry! We can't organise returns just because you changed your mind. But don't worry just yet - under the Sale of Goods Act 1979 (SGA), you've got rights.
Your watch should look the part and do what it says on the tin (or listing, that is). If not, you're legally covered to return it for a refund. If you're worried about the watch's condition or quality, reach out to the Zundia support team and Trustap. Between us both, we'll sort out a solution while keeping things fair and simple.
